Description: My clients wanted to revamp their blog with a clean, fun, modern look.
In the Details: I have worked with Heather before…and she is such a great client. Plus, I know her style and it’s pretty much the same as mine. I wanted the site to look modern, but since it’s a blog about motherhood and the like, I also wanted to add some retro details, such as the font for Divas and the colors, and I added a modern twist to the banners and buttons. I also wanted the sidebar items to be encased, so they were more noticeable…and I have a thing for diagonal stripes lately, so it seemed right to use those in the sidebars and the headers. I also wanted the menu bar to be different and eye catching, so I created large buttons for the most visited pages, and added a banner menu bar for the other pages. All in all, I love the design and it was great working with a familiar face…or voice
