Description: I was so excited when Jen contacted me to create her logo. Jen and I went to college together. We lived in the same dorm and were in choir together. She is such a great person and she is SO talented! Seriously, this girl can sing, design, create…whatever! She has a unique t-shirt dyeing technique that doesn’t have harmful chemicals and her designs are great. Check out her site! Anywho…she wanted a design that was fun (she mostly designs children’s shirts) and clean. I definitely wanted to incorporate a cantaloupe, but in an artistic and interesting way.
In the Details: I actually included the “cantaloupe flowers” in one of the logo concepts, and I still loved them, so I added them to parts of the blog design. I also love the zebra/dotted pattern…it added a little more “zing.” Like I’ve said before, I love white backgrounds because they really bring out the images in each post!
